Hello, my name is Yan Xu.

I was born in China and raised in Japan.

I went to the U.S. in 2009 for learning English and experiencing different cultures.  

After graduating from The Art Institute of Seattle with Bachelor of Science in industrial design, I worked as a freelance designer for one and half year.  Currently, I am back in Japan working as a product designer.

 Meeting people from different cultures broadened my horizons which also inspired me a lot.
